Real Madrid has successfully included Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin in their current squad. However, the "Los Blancos" have decided not to limit themselves to players with only the trident on their passports.

As reported by journalist Andrew Todos, Real Madrid has signed a contract with 17-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper Ilya Voloshin from Rayo Majadahonda. The agreement is valid until the summer of 2026. Additionally, it is mentioned that when the player turns 18 (which will happen on January 15, 2025), Real Madrid will sign a longer-term contract with Voloshin.

Lunin, currently reported to have won the competition against the Spaniard Kepa for a place in the main team's goal during Thibaut Courtois' absence, has played 14 matches for Real Madrid in the current season. In six of these matches, he kept his net intact, while he conceded 12 goals.

It has also been reported that Lunin will extend his contract with Real Madrid, which is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
