Renowned insider Fabrizio Romano has shared new information on Kylian Mbappé's transfer to Real Madrid on his social media accounts.

The Italian journalist attached an official statement from the Madrid club, the text of which is provided below.

«In light of the reports in the media regarding negotiations between the footballer Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid asserts that this information is categorically untrue.
Our club has not engaged in negotiations with the footballer whose contract is owned by PSG», - the statement said.

Earlier, there were reports that Mbappé had forgone bonuses to facilitate his move to Real.

Kylian Mbappé has been playing for PSG since 2018, when he moved there from Monaco for €180 million. Before that, he spent one year on loan at the Parisian club. Over seven seasons, the Frenchman has played 273 matches, scoring 224 goals and becoming PSG's all-time leading goalscorer.
