Real Madrid goalkeeper missed today's training session. The reason is known
Real Madrid's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin was absent from today’s team training session.
According to AS, the Ukrainian goalkeeper missed the session due to a fever. However, it is anticipated that Lunin will recover in time for the Champions League final. This information was confirmed by the team's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
At today's press conference, the Italian coach stated that he has yet to decide which goalkeeper will play in the final. Thibaut Courtois only returned to fitness at the beginning of this month, while Lunin successfully played in all the Champions League playoff matches prior to Courtois' recovery.
This season, Lunin has appeared in 31 matches across all competitions, conceding 32 goals and achieving 12 clean sheets.
The Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid will take place on Saturday, June 1, at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London.
