The 28-year-old Portuguese midfielder has become a highly sought-after target for many of Europe's top clubs.

Details: According to journalist Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, 28-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder Rúben Neves, currently with Saudi side Al-Hilal, could become a Real Madrid player as early as next summer.

Neves's current contract with the Saudi giants runs until June 2026 and will not be extended. As a result, several clubs are circling, eager to snap up the experienced midfielder on a free transfer.

Real Madrid are considered one of the main contenders, viewing Neves as a quality reinforcement for the midfield and a valuable rotation option. Along with the "Galacticos," Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, Liverpool, and Juventus are also closely monitoring Neves's situation.

This season, Neves has played 16 matches for Al-Hilal, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist.
