A new edition of the Africa Cup of Nations has recently kicked off in Morocco, and one of Real Madrid’s players has revealed which team he is backing at the tournament.

Details: The Royal Club’s midfielder Eduardo Camavinga admitted that he is supporting Angola. He followed the previous Africa Cup of Nations and believes the Angolan side have a genuine chance.

Quote: “I’m supporting Angola at the Africa Cup of Nations… I followed the last Africa Cup of Nations, and we played well. I think this year we have a chance,” Camavinga said.

Eduardo Camavinga was born in the town of Miconje in the Cabinda province on the west coast of Angola. However, just a year later he moved to France with his family.

Angola have already begun their campaign with a match against South Africa, which ended in a narrow 2–1 victory for Bafana Bafana. Up next for the Angolans is a clash with Zimbabwe on Friday, December 26.
