Real faces issues with Chamartín residents over new Santiago Bernabéu

The transformation of Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium into a multi-functional venue has sparked discontent among residents of the traditionally quiet Chamartín neighborhood in Madrid, where the stadium is located.
Details: According to Inside The Games, local residents have voiced concerns about noise levels from stadium events, such as Taylor Swift's recent concert, and public disturbances that escalated into protests. In response, Real Madrid has temporarily halted all non-football events at the Bernabéu to address soundproofing issues.
However, this decision could affect club revenue, as Real must repay €1.2 billion in loans taken out for the stadium renovation, which was expected to be offset by hosting concerts and other events.
Reminder: Recently, Atlético Madrid’s stadium also received a new name.
