Real Betis Push to Re-Sign Moroccan Midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fenerbahçe

Real Betis are reportedly pushing to bring Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat back to the club, with manager Manuel Pellegrini keen to strengthen his midfield.

According to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, Betis have identified Amrabat as a priority target, with Pellegrini believing the midfielder can add greater balance and solidity to his squad.

Fenerbahçe’s financial demands are currently the main obstacle to the deal. Betis could explore alternative options, including a loan with a purchase option or a deal involving instalment payments.

Amrabat is reportedly open to returning to Spain, but an agreement between the clubs is yet to be reached.

The 29-year-old is currently training individually with Fenerbahçe as he waits for clarity over his future during the final days of the transfer window.
