Real are interested in one of Bayer's leaders

Bayer are rushing towards the German league title this season. Its players are showing outstanding form, which inevitably attracts the interest of top clubs.

Earlier we reported that Bayern Munich refused to sign Pharmacists midfielder Florian Wirtz, which, according to Relevo, could be utilised by Real Madrid, who are also keeping tabs on the 20-year-old.

Scouting reports at the Santiago Bernabéu suggest that Wirtz is a natural to play for the Los Blancos, but he can't be used in his usual position as it is occupied by Jude Bellingham and Rodrigo.

If the midfielder is signed, Carlo Ancelotti plans to use him as a hybrid between a striker and an attacking midfielder.
