Arsenal is aiming to cap off the summer transfer window with a sensational signing.

Details: London’s Arsenal is making a determined push to secure the signature of Galatasaray’s Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. Acquiring the 27-year-old forward has been set as a top priority by Gunners’ head coach Mikel Arteta himself.

The English club’s management is confident they can finalize the deal before the current transfer window deadline. The Turkish giants have yet to name an exact fixed price for their prized striker, but the Istanbul side is reportedly looking to at least recoup their initial investment of around €70 million.

It’s worth noting that Victor Osimhen spent the 2024/25 season at Galatasaray on loan, before making a permanent switch from Napoli to the Turkish club in the summer of 2025. In the 2025/26 campaign, the Nigerian forward featured in 33 matches across all competitions for the Istanbul side, netting 22 goals and providing 8 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the player’s current market value stands at €75 million.
