Kobbie Mainoo is not getting enough playing time at Manchester United, and the club’s head coach is not relying on him, prompting the player to consider leaving.

Details: According to Chris Wheeler, relations between the player and the club are on the verge of breaking down. Mainu does not see his future at the club and is ready to move on loan in January, with an option to buy.

We previously reported that Kobbie Mainoo’s brother wore a black T-shirt reading “Free Kobbie Mainoo,” symbolising a protest against the fact that Mainu cannot leave Manchester United but is also not getting sufficient playing time.

Mainoo’s current contract with United runs until 2027, and his market value is estimated at €40 million by Transfermarkt.

Reminder: A few days ago, Bruno Fernandes caused a stir with comments about his situation at Manchester United and claims that the club wanted to sell him in the summer. The matter has since been addressed by the team’s head coach.
