Bruno Fernandes held talks with Manchester United’s board of directors
A few days ago, Bruno Fernandes caused a stir with his comments about his situation at Manchester United and claims that the club wanted to sell him in the summer. The situation has now been addressed by the team’s head coach.
Details: Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Ruben Amorim confirmed that Bruno Fernandes had held talks with Manchester United’s board of directors. He believes that everything has now been clarified. Amorim also added that Bruno sets an example for the rest of the squad.
Quote: “Bruno is an example; he gives everything and puts everything on the line. In that he is special, we need to step up to have that feeling. He spoke about his feelings. I think when I watch Bruno training and playing, he is a special character. He’s different,” Amorim said.
Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in 2020 for €65 million. Since arriving at the club, he has made 307 appearances, scoring 103 goals and providing 93 assists. Bruno Fernandes’ current contract with Manchester United runs until 2027.
Reminder: Manchester United have lodged complaints, claiming that throughout the season the Red Devils have repeatedly been affected by refereeing errors that may have cost them crucial points.
