Ready for the next stage: Erling Haaland reacts to the upcoming start of the Club World Cup


Manchester City star Erling Haaland is already gearing up for the next stage of the current season. The forward took to his Instagram page to share a poster for the soon-to-begin FIFA Club World Cup.
The Norwegian posted Manchester City's fixture list for the group stage of the tournament, adding the caption, “Next stop: the U.S.”
It's worth noting that the English side will face Moroccan club Wydad, UAE’s Al Ain, and Italian giants Juventus in their group. The opening match against Wydad is scheduled for June 18.
Before the Club World Cup, Haaland joined the Norwegian national team, playing in the latest qualifying matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Norway secured victories over Italy and Estonia, giving their qualification hopes a significant boost.
Haaland found the net in both games, bringing his tally to four goals in four qualifying appearances this campaign.
For Manchester City this season, the Norwegian has featured in 44 matches across all competitions, notching up 31 goals and providing 4 assists.
