RB Leipzig signs Aston Villa youngster Nedeljković on loan

This season, RB Leipzig has faced significant defensive struggles, prompting the club to strengthen its backline in the winter window.

Details: Today, RB Leipzig officially announced the loan signing of 19-year-old right-back Kosta Nedeljković from Aston Villa.

The loan deal runs until the end of the season, with Leipzig holding a €15 million buy option.

In the winter of 2024, Aston Villa paid Crvena Zvezda €7.6 million for Nedeljković, but he has featured in only five Premier League matches this season.

Reminder: Earlier this winter, RB Leipzig completed a record-breaking purchase of attacking midfielder Xavi Simons from PSG.
