RB Leipzig looks to re-loan Bayern transfer target

RB Leipzig hopes to keep PSG midfielder Xavi Simons, who played for the "Bulls" on loan, for the next season.
The transfer saga involving Simons and Bayern Munich is still ongoing, but Leipzig's CEO Mintzlaff insists on negotiating Simons' return.
PSG does not plan to sell the midfielder and is open to another loan, which Leipzig intends to take advantage of.
Previously, it was reported that Simons had agreed on contract terms with Bayern. The Munich club had supposedly reached an agreement with PSG to loan the Dutch player until the end of the season, with an obligation to buy.
Bayern sporting director, Max Eberl, who previously held a similar position at RB Leipzig, initiated the negotiations for Simons' loan. He believes that the Dutchman would be an ideal reinforcement for Bayern and convinced him to move to Munich.
Last season, the 21-year-old Simons played 43 matches for Leipzig in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists.
