Xavi Simons is a few steps away from a transfer to a top European club
PSG and Netherlands attacking midfielder Xavi Simons is likely to continue his career at another top club.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Simons has agreed to the terms of a contract with Bayern Munich. The Munich club has already reached an agreement with PSG for the Dutchman's loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy.
Simons himself wanted to remain in Germany, where he successfully played on loan for RB Leipzig last season.
Bayern's current sporting director, Max Eberl, who held a similar position at RB Leipzig during negotiations for Simons' loan, believes the Dutchman will be a perfect addition for Bayern and convinced him to move to Munich.
Last season, the 21-year-old Simons played 43 matches for the "Bulls" in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists.
