Rayo Vallecano may sign a former Atlético Madrid forward
At the end of last season, Dutch forward Memphis Depay left Atlético Madrid and became a free agent.
According to Relevo, Rayo Vallecano has shown interest in the player. Depay is very fond of Madrid, which might influence him to sign with Rayo Vallecano. Flamengo is also considering making a move for Depay, but Rayo Vallecano's management will make every effort to persuade the Dutchman to choose their club.
Depay is seeking an annual salary of €5.5 million. The club is currently searching for the necessary financial resources, as they do not have the funds readily available. However, if they are unable to meet his demands, they hope to negotiate a compromise with the player.
Additionally, for the first time in four years, La Liga fans will be able to see midfielder James Rodríguez on Spanish fields again. However, he will not be representing Real Madrid. The 33-year-old Colombian has signed a contract with Spanish side Rayo Vallecano until June 2025.
