Confirmed. James Rodriguez has returned to the Spanish championship
For the first time in four years, La Liga fans will be able to see midfielder James Rodriguez on Spanish pitches. But no longer with Real Madrid.
A contract until June 2025 with the 33-year-old Colombian player signed Spanish Rayo Vallecano, not reported detailed conditions of Rodriguez's stay in the Spanish capital.
As a player of another Madrid club, namely Real Madrid, the midfielder played 85 matches in the Spanish league, scoring 29 goals and giving 28 assists. In total, Rodriguez played 125 matches for the club in 2014-2017, as well as in the 2019/2020 season, in which he scored 37 goals and gave 42 assists.
In addition to Real Madrid, the Colombian has also represented Porto, Bayern Munich, Monaco, Everton and Olympiakos, while his last club was Brazil's São Paulo.
