Barcelona star Raphinha has revealed that he was unhappy during Xavi's tenure as head coach of the Catalan club.

Quote: "Did I ever feel neglected at Barça? Yes, I did... especially in the first six months and during other periods. People always said I was bad and that I should be sold! But now, everything is great.

When Xavi was the coach, I knew I'd be substituted by the 60th minute. I tried to give my all in those 60 minutes... but nothing seemed to work. And in other periods, even when things were going well, I’d still get subbed," Raphinha shared with El Pais.

Recall: since the arrival of Hansi Flick, Raphinha has become a true leader for the team. This season, the Brazilian winger has recorded 10 goals and 9 assists in 14 matches across all competitions.

It was previously reported that Barcelona has set its sights on Viktor Gyökeres and is preparing a player trade to make it happen.
