Barcelona sets sights on Viktor Gyokeres and plans player exchange

Barcelona is actively looking for a player capable of replacing veteran forward Robert Lewandowski, who is now 36 years old. One of the main candidates for this role is Viktor Gyokeres, who has shown outstanding form at the start of the 2024/25 season, scoring 20 goals in 16 matches for Sporting.

Details. The Catalan club is interested in acquiring the Swedish striker, but the high price could be a significant obstacle. Sporting has set an asking price of €60-70 million for Gyokeres, but Barcelona hopes to significantly reduce this figure, according to A Bola.

As part of the deal, Barcelona is proposing to include Vitor Roque. The Lisbon club had attempted to sign the young forward this summer, but he declined the move, preferring to stay in Spain.
