Ranieri's return offers no respite as Roma suffers worst streak since 2008

Today, Roma faced Atalanta in the 14th round of Serie A, ending in yet another disappointment for the capital club.

Details: Roma suffered a 2-0 defeat, equaling their worst streak in the past 16 years.

This marks Roma’s fourth consecutive loss in Serie A—a slump they hadn’t experienced since November 2008, during Luciano Spalletti's tenure as head coach.

As a result, Roma now sits precariously in 15th place in Serie A, just two points above the relegation zone.

Reminder: In November, Claudio Ranieri returned for a third stint as Roma’s head coach, becoming the team’s third manager this season.
