Ranieri reveals his request to Mourinho. What did he ask for?

Claudio Ranieri and José Mourinho share a connection through their time at AS Roma. While Ranieri is currently at the helm, the Portuguese tactician’s stint with the Giallorossi is already in the past. But even back then, Ranieri made a special request to Mourinho.
Details: Ranieri revealed that when he was the head coach of Cagliari, he asked Mourinho to loan him Edoardo Bove, but Mourinho declined, choosing instead to give the youngster a chance at Roma.
Quote: “You might not know this, but I asked Mourinho to let Bove join Cagliari on loan, but he told me the player would stay in Rome. At the same time, I wish him all the best and hope he achieves everything he desires because he’s a fantastic guy.”
Reminder: Bove has not played since December, after collapsing on the pitch during Fiorentina’s home match against Inter due to cardiac arrest.
