Ramy Abbas’ Message to Arne Slot Fuels Speculation About Salah’s Liverpool Future

As doubts persist about the Egyptian star's future at Anfield, Mohamed Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas, has issued a brief but fascinating statement about Liverpool's head coach, Arne Slot.

Three Liverpool players, including Salah, 32, have contracts that expire at the end of the current campaign. He already intimated that this may be his last season with the team, and expressed his anger at not receiving a new contract offer in December.

Abbas' latest remarks gave Liverpool supporters hope despite the lingering rumors. The Daily Mail claims that he replied to an X post that put Slot ahead of the Premier League leaderboard, where Liverpool was ahead by seven points. The only thing Abbas wrote was: "Excellent at his job."

What Does This Mean for Salah?

• Abbas is known for being careful with his words, rarely making public statements that are not directly related to Salah.

• His praise for Slot could be a positive sign, indicating Salah enjoys working under the Dutch coach.

• Some believe it may be a criticism of Liverpool’s owners, suggesting the club’s leadership—not the manager—is responsible for Salah’s unresolved contract situation.

Liverpool supporters are still waiting for an answer about Salah's future with three months of the season remaining. The requests for the club to ensure his long-term stay have been strengthened by his outstanding performances this season.
