Ramsdale wants to return to top-flight football. He sets himself an ambitious goal

Last summer, Southampton signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal, hoping his arrival would help them avoid an immediate drop back to the Championship. As we know, that move didn’t pay off, but Ramsdale has no intention of spending the peak years of his career on the fringes of the Premier League.
Details: According to talkSPORT, the Saints are ready to let the 27-year-old keeper leave on loan. Ramsdale himself is also open to a change of club, as his main objective is to earn a spot in England’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
At the same time, with a weekly wage of £100,000, Ramsdale is Southampton’s highest-paid player. Galatasaray and Rangers are reportedly among the clubs interested in acquiring the goalkeeper.
Reminder: Interest from top Premier League clubs has also been sparked by Southampton’s young winger Tyler Dibling, but the Saints are not willing to let him leave easily.
