Ramos does not want to sign a new contract with Sevilla. The defender is not pleased with one factor

There is still uncertainty surrounding Sergio Ramos' future at Sevilla, stemming from the 38-year-old defender's contract. It expires this coming summer, and so far it is 100% impossible to say that the labour agreement between the parties will be extended.

Right now, both the centre-back and the club are focused on avoiding relegation, and it is the Andalusians' sporting project that Relevo believes will be the underlying factor Ramos will rely on when negotiating with Sevilla.

The 38-year-old doesn't want to waste time fighting for holding in the league rather than something more meaningful, so he may leave the club and move to one of the MLS teams. It was to the US that Ramos recently headed to explore his potential employers.

Moreover, there is a certain group of people in the Sevilla management who do not want to extend the contract with the ageing player, despite his leadership qualities, wanting to reconstruct the squad.
