Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has given fans a glimpse of his preparations for the upcoming Club World Cup match. The striker posted a training snap to his Instagram story.
Mbappé shared a photo from a Real Madrid training session in Palm Beach, captioning it, “Getting better every day 📈😄.” It appears the Frenchman has fully recovered from his recent illness and is ready to help his team chase the title.
As a reminder, Mbappé missed the entire group stage of the Club World Cup due to acute gastroenteritis. He made his first appearance only in the round of 16 clash against Juventus, coming on as a substitute midway through the second half.
In the quarter-finals, Real Madrid are set to face Borussia Dortmund. The showdown is scheduled for July 5 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, New York.
Should they get past the German side, Real Madrid will take on the winner of the blockbuster PSG/Bayern Munich semi-final.
