Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé dropped by to catch up with his fellow France national team players from Juventus ahead of their face-off in the Club World Cup. Cameras from DAZN captured this friendly encounter in the stadium's mixed zone.
The footage shows Mbappé chatting with Khéphren Thuram and Kolo Muani. The Real Madrid star spotted a Labubu plush toy in Thuram's hand, which clearly amused him, prompting some good-natured ribbing of his international teammate.
Labubu is the main character from the book series The Monsters, which later inspired a line of collectible toys now produced by Pop Mart.
This toy has become incredibly popular, turning into a trendy accessory and a sought-after collectible. It seems Khéphren Thuram is also a fan of the series and this quirky character.
It's worth noting that in the clash between Real Madrid and Juventus, it was the Spanish side that secured victory and progressed to the tournament quarterfinals.
