In an unexpected declaration, Pyramids FC head coach Krunoslav Jurčić stated that he would back Al Ahly in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the US in June.

Dreaming of a CAF Champions League Final Against Al Ahly
Jurčić expressed his ambition to lead Pyramids to the CAF Champions League final, where he hopes to face Al Ahly in a showdown for African supremacy.
"Al Ahly is the strongest team in Egypt and has the structure of a global club. I hope we reach the CAF Champions League final and meet them there."
Tough Title Race in the Egyptian Premier League
The Pyramids coach also commented on the Egyptian league's new format, admitting that the title race is more competitive than ever. However, he believes that Pyramids and Al Ahly are the top contenders for the championship.
"The league competition is very tough this year, but I think the title will be decided between Pyramids and Al Ahly."
Surprised by Modern Sport’s Struggles
Jurčić expressed his admiration for Modern Sport's squad, admitting that he would like to sign some of their players. However, he was surprised by their poor league position, as the team currently sits at the bottom of the table.
The Croatian coach concluded his remarks by highlighting Haras El Hodoud and Petrojet as the biggest surprises of the Egyptian Premier League this season.
