The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the participating teams for this year’s Nedbank Cup.

There will be 16 teams from the Betway Premiership, eight from the National First Division and eight from Safa’s amateur level to make the 32 required for the competition.

From the Motsepe Foundation Championship it will be Casric Stars, Gomora United, Highbury, Hungry Lions, Lerumo Lions, Milford FC, University of Pretoria and Upington City.

Safa strictures team are missing a representative from Western Cape while all the other provinces have confirmed their teams as FC Cardinals of Free State, Gauteng's SSU M17, KZN side Mkhambathi FC, Limpopo's Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Mpumalnga’s Luthuli Brigades, Jacksa Spears from Northern Cape and North West club Army Rockets.

The competition was won by Kaizer Chiefs last season who will be hoping to successfully defend the title.

All 32 teams will go into the draw on Thursday night in Johannesburg.
