On February 25th, in the 23rd round match of the French Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain hosted the strong Rennes at their home ground.

The visitors arrived in Paris not in the best mood, as earlier in the week they were eliminated from European competitions, losing to Milan in the Round of 16 of the Europa League.

In the first half, both teams played cautiously and didn't create many chances, but the guests managed to make the most of it. Amine Gouiri made an excellent individual run and shot from outside the penalty area into the top right corner of Donnarumma's goal.

In the second half, Luis Enrique tried to change the course of the game with substitutions, but PSG couldn't find the net in response. The most realistic chance to equalize came from Dembélé, but veteran goalkeeper Steve Mandanda dealt with his shot. However, the guests were not destined to win this match. Already at the set time, Mandanda “brought” a penalty into his own goal, which was converted by Gonçalo Ramos.

PSG - Rennes - 1:1
Goal: Gonçalo Ramos 90+8 - Gouiri 33.
