PSG qualify for the play-offs, Newcastle drop out of European competition. Results of Group F

In Group F, the fate of teams for the Champions League playoffs, Europa League, and elimination from European competitions was determined. Three teams were vying for a single spot - PSG, Milan, and Newcastle.

Borussia Dortmund - PSG - 1:1

In the first half, Parisians had several good opportunities to take the lead. Mbappé had a shot at an empty net, but a defender saved it. The goalposts also came to the hosts' rescue, as Borussia had few promising goal-scoring chances.

After the break, the teams quickly exchanged goals. In the 51st minute, Adeyemi opened the scoring for Dortmund, putting them ahead, and five minutes later, Zayr-Emery restored parity. Kylian Mbappé scored a goal that was disallowed due to an offside.

The 1-1 draw helped PSG secure the second position and advance to the playoffs.

Newcastle - Milan - 1:2

Despite Newcastle's dominance in the first half, they only managed to score once. Joelinton opened the scoring with a beautiful strike. After the break, Pulisic leveled the score in the 59th minute. Interestingly, this was Milan's first shot on target in the game.

Newcastle continued to attack more, while Milan patiently waited for their chance and eventually found it. In the 84th minute, Chukwueze scored the winning goal for the Rossoneri, ensuring their qualification for the Europa League. Newcastle lost 1-2 and exited European competitions.
