PSG are set to face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, and the French football authorities have sided with the Paris club.

Details: According to RMC Sport, the Ligue de Football Professionnel has decided to support PSG and postpone their match against Lens. Lens were opposed to the decision, but the fixture will not take place as scheduled.

The move was made to give PSG more time and better preparation ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

The matches between PSG and Liverpool will take place on April 8 and 14. The game against Lens was scheduled for April 11 but will ultimately not be played.

Lens sit in second place in the table, just one point behind PSG.

Reminder: PSG’s influence on French football is difficult to overstate, which, according to Tebas, gives the Parisians certain privileges.
