PSG's medical staff have officially confirmed a highly disappointing diagnosis for 18-year-old striker Quentin Ndjantou.

Details: After a thorough examination of the injury he previously sustained, doctors have decided that radical intervention is necessary—surgery on Ndjantou's right hamstring.

The operation means that one of the Parisian academy’s brightest prospects, who has started featuring for the first team this season, will be sidelined for several months. According to early forecasts, Ndjantou will not return to full training before the summer, effectively ruling him out of the decisive Ligue 1 and Champions League fixtures this season.

Alongside Ndjantou, Fabian Ruiz remains on the injury list as he continues his recovery and will miss the upcoming Le Classique against Marseille.

It’s worth noting that the young Frenchman has made fifteen appearances for PSG across all competitions this season, notching one goal and two assists.

Reminder: Kylian Mbappé’s lawyers have sent a bailiff to PSG.
