Central defender Dayot Upamecano, whose contract with Bayern expires next summer, has become the subject of interest from several top clubs.

Details: According to RMC Sport, the Munich club's management is actively negotiating a contract extension with the player. However, should the parties fail to reach an agreement, PSG is prepared to make the defender an offer. Upamecano addressed the rumors, stating that for now he is not considering any club other than Bayern.

At the French national team press conference ahead of crucial matches against Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Dayot Upamecano made it clear that his focus remains on the current season with Bayern and the French national team, and he is not thinking about any other clubs.

“PSG is a very big club with an excellent coach and great players, but right now my mind is fully occupied with Bayern and the national team.”

Meanwhile, Bayern president Herbert Hainer and sporting director Christoph Freund have urged Upamecano to extend his contract in Munich, citing the examples of Musiala, Kimmich, and Davies. The club is ready to offer the defender favorable terms and remains optimistic about securing an extension.

This season, the French defender has already made fifteen appearances for Bayern, but is yet to register a goal or assist.

Reminder: Bayern have set their sights on Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté.
