Will Upamecano leave for Real? Bayern set sights on Liverpool defender Konate

Bayern Munich have expressed interest in Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate, who has also been on the radar of Real Madrid. The Spanish giants have shifted their focus to Dayot Upamecano, and Konate is seen as his potential replacement in Munich.

According to BILD, the German club is keen to sign the Frenchman, who is also in talks with Paris Saint-Germain, making him one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe.

To recap, the 26-year-old Konate has made 15 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions this season, scoring once. His contract with the Merseysiders runs until the summer of 2026, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at around €55 million.
