Paris Saint-Germain has activated the buyout option for Portuguese forward Goncalo Ramos from Benfica, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

According to sources, Benfica will receive 65 million euros for this transfer, with an additional 15 million euros specified as bonuses. This summer, Ramos moved from Benfica to PSG on a loan basis. The agreement between the clubs included a mandatory buyout clause.

Ramos began his football career with Olhanense in his hometown of Olhão in 2009. In 2013, he joined Benfica's football academy. On January 13, 2019, he made his debut for Benfica B in a match against Braga B in the Portuguese Liga Pro.

In August 2019, Goncalo extended his contract with Benfica until 2024. With the under-19 team, he reached the UEFA Youth League final in 2019/20, scoring a brace in the final against Real Madrid, although his team lost 2-3.

On July 21, 2020, Ramos made his debut for Benfica's first team, coming on as a substitute for Pizzi in the 85th minute of a Portuguese Primeira Liga match against Aves, scoring two goals in the remaining time.

This season, Ramos has played 15 matches for PSG, scoring two goals.
