PSG freezes player contract talks for an intriguing reason

The Paris Saint-Germain management has decided to temporarily halt all contract extension negotiations with its players. According to L’Équipe, the club wants to focus entirely on the quest for Champions League glory.

According to sources, the decision was agreed upon by club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, sporting director Luis Campos, and head coach Luis Enrique. At PSG, there is a belief that any discussions about players' futures could distract the squad at this decisive stage of the season.
