Forward Hugo Ekitike has made the switch from PSG to Eintracht Frankfurt, as announced on the German club's official website.

Ekitike had been playing for Eintracht on loan this season, but the club exercised their option to purchase him for €16 million plus €3 million in bonuses. Additionally, there is a profit percentage clause in the contract for PSG in the event of Ekitike's future sale.

In the current season, the 21-year-old forward has featured in 10 matches for Eintracht, scoring only 1 goal and providing 1 assist.

Prior to joining PSG, Ekitike played for his hometown club Reims, where he scored 10 goals in 24 matches during the 2021/22 Ligue 1 season. However, following his transfer to PSG, he struggled to make an impact at the new club, scoring 4 goals in 33 games.

Eintracht Frankfurt currently occupies sixth place after 30 rounds in the Bundesliga.
