PSG defender Lucas Hernandez's home targeted by burglars, but an unlikely hero saves the day
While Lucas Hernandez was playing in PSG's Champions League match against Salzburg in Austria, burglars attempted to break into his home in Yvelines near Paris. However, their plans were thwarted by an unexpected hero, reports Bild.
Adding to the drama, Hernandez's fiancée, Victoria Triay, was at home during the attempted break-in. Alongside her was the family dog, which successfully scared off the five intruders before they could execute their plan. Victoria took refuge in an annex of the house during the incident.

Security personnel from a local firm quickly arrived on the scene, further preventing the burglars from stealing anything. However, the culprits managed to escape. Police are now investigating the incident.
Victoria expressed her gratitude on Instagram, thanking their brave dog and the local police for their swift response.
Hernandez recently returned to action after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury. He came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute during PSG's dominant 3-0 victory over Salzburg. The French club currently holds the 25th spot in the overall Champions League standings.
