Young Benfica central midfielder João Neves is edging closer to a move to PSG.
According to Fabrizio Romano, another successful round of negotiations took place between the clubs today. They are set to meet again soon to finalize the deal.
PSG will pay €70 million for João Neves, with central midfielder Renato Sanches heading in the opposite direction to his boyhood club, Benfica.
The transfer is expected to be officially announced as early as next week.
In Luis Enrique's team, the Portuguese midfielder will replace Manuel Ugarte, who is nearing a move to Manchester United.
The 19-year-old Neves, a Benfica academy product, has already played 75 matches for his home club, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists despite his young age.
