The 2024-2025 CAF Confederation Cup final will conclude on Sunday, May 25, with RS Berkane hosting Simba Sports of Tanzania in the second leg.

First leg update

With a vital 2-0 win in the first game, RS Berkane put themselves in a great position to win the second-most coveted club trophy in Africa for the third time.

Prize money boost by CAF

Since 2023, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has raised the prize money across the tournament:

  • Winner: $2 million
  • Runner-up: $1 million
  • Semi-finalists: $750,000 each
  • Quarter-finalists: $550,000 each
  • Third and fourth place in groups: $400,000 each

History and stakes

RS Berkane previously won the Confederation Cup in 2020 and 2022, while Simba Sports are chasing their first-ever title in the competition.

As both sides compete for European glory and a substantial financial reward, the forthcoming match promises to be highly dramatic.
