The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially revealed a bold new design for the CAF Confederation Cup trophy, just hours before the decisive second leg between Renaissance de Berkane and Simba SC on Sunday, May 25.
A Symbol of African Pride
In a video published across CAF's platforms, the new trophy was introduced as a modern symbol of African unity, ambition, and sporting excellence. Smooth lines and striking aesthetic that speaks to the future of African football characterize the updated design which captures the energy & personality of the continent.
First Coronation
Moroccan club Renaissance Berkane won the Confederation Cup for the third time in its history, after defeating Tanzania's Simba SC in the final.
The Moroccan club is the first team to lift the Confederation Cup in its new format.
