Prison and the Colosseum? Turki Al-Sheikh plans to hold a boxing evening in an unusual location
Boxing goes beyond the usual limits. Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Riyadh Season, plans to organize matches in unusual locations, including the Eiffel Tower, Alcatraz prison, and the Colosseum.
Quote: "I've often thought about holding a fight not just in the ring, but in other places as well. For example, Alcatraz prison, the pyramids in Mexico, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum in Italy, or somewhere in the mountains.
If the authorities in these regions agree, it would be the perfect venue. I even considered a large aircraft carrier in New York. Some may find it strange, but to me, these places are incredible. I definitely like this idea," said the head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia in an interview with ESPN.
Reminder: Riyadh Season had previously planned an unusual boxing evening, which is set to take place outdoors in New York's Times Square.
