Manchester United and Chelsea have set their sights on signing one of this season’s brightest prospects—Jonathan Rowe.
Details: According to TEAMtalk, the Red Devils’ scouts have become regular visitors at Bologna matches, closely monitoring Rowe’s progress and how he adapts to the fierce competition in Serie A. The club views Rowe as the perfect addition to their attacking line, bringing much-needed creativity and pace to their squad.
However, the path to Manchester won’t be straightforward: Chelsea are also showing serious interest in the winger. The Blues, continuing their strategy of gathering Europe’s top young talents, are prepared to go head-to-head with United for Rowe’s signature this summer.
Italian side Bologna are well aware of their asset’s value and have no intention of letting Rowe go on the cheap. Reports suggest the club values their star at around €45 million.
So far this season, the English winger has featured in 42 matches across all competitions, netting 8 goals and providing 4 assists. According to Transfermarkt, Rowe is currently valued at €20 million.
