Preparing for a return: Camavinga resumes ball training
At the end of November, French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga suffered an injury, but his return appears to be on the horizon.
Details: According to Madrid Universal, the player has already begun ball training and is currently practicing at Valdebebas.
It was previously reported by Real Madrid that the French midfielder was diagnosed with a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg. The club did not provide further details, but such an injury typically sidelines a player for 2 to 3 weeks.
Reminder: Back in December 2023, Real Madrid defender David Alaba sustained a cruciate ligament injury in his knee and has not played since. Reports now suggest that his return could happen as early as January.
Ancelotti also stated that Vinícius Júnior will be available to play in the Champions League match against Atalanta. Without Vinícius, Real lost to Liverpool (0-2) in the Champions League and, fell to Athletic Bilbao (1-2) in a postponed La Liga match, with Kylian Mbappé missing a penalty.
