Premier League player questioned again in case involving three alleged rapes
A Premier League footballer, accused of committing three rapes, has undergone another police interrogation.
Details: According to The Telegraph, London police have already submitted evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service regarding the player's alleged crimes. In July 2022, reports emerged that the footballer was arrested after a woman came forward with accusations.
He is also suspected in two additional rape cases. However, the player has not been suspended by his club, and the police previously decided not to take further action. On November 7, 2024, the suspect was called back to the station for further questioning.
The player, whose identity has not been revealed, is known to play for a Premier League club, is over 30 years old, a key member of his team, and represents his national side. He reportedly earns more than £100,000 per week.
Context: Former Newcastle player Paul Watson and Hibernian employee Tracey Smith have launched an initiative aimed at providing support to individuals dealing with relationships involving footballers.
