It seems the verdict in the case of Manchester City's 115 alleged Financial Fair Play breaches won't be delivered any time soon, but that's not the only trouble the Citizens are facing from the Premier League.

Details: The Premier League has fined the club £1 million for repeated delays in starting matches and returning for the second half. Manchester City admitted to nine such infractions, issued an apology, and agreed to pay the fine.

The largest fine the Citizens will pay is for a delay in the match against Ipswich Town in January this year, which lasted 2 minutes and 22 seconds, costing the club £210,000. It's unclear how the Premier League calculated these fines, as a longer delay during the Manchester Derby on December 15, 2024, will cost the club almost £100,000 less.

Reminder: Manchester City has also been fined for similar offenses in the previous two seasons, and for the 2023/2024 campaign alone they have paid over £2 million in fines.
