Premier League club made an offer to Sarri after his resignation from Lazio

In mid-March, Lazio sent their head coach Maurizio Sarri to resign, and the specialist is currently out of a job. But, that could change almost immediately.

So, with an offer to lead the team, according to Alfred Pedulla, Sarri was approached by Nottingham Forrest. "Foresters" offered the coach a three-year contract with the promise of a big transfer in the summer, if the team avoids relegation to the Championship, but the specialist immediately rejected it.

Sarri is reportedly busy with other things at the moment. He wants to catch his breath in order to return to work already next season.

It is worth recalling that now Nottingham Forrest is going through bad times because of the removal of four points as punishment for violation of financial fair-play, which sent the team into the Premier League relegation zone.
