Premier League club have been in contact with Bayer for transfer of the Bundesliga leader's star

Bayer are showing outstanding form this season, and against this backdrop it's no wonder that other clubs are interested in the leaders of one of the main contenders for the silver salad bowl.

Thus, Florian Plettenberg in his account in X (previously - Twitter) named the league, which shows interest in the striker "pharmacists" Victor Boniface. An unnamed Premier League club has made an enquiry over the 23-year-old forward's move.

However, the team itself Xabi Alonso does not want to sell the Nigerian, and if it wants to do so, it will listen to offers for him, which start from 55 million euros.

There were earlier reports of interest from West Ham, who were even prepared to break the transfer record in the winter transfer window to sign Boniface.

This season, the 23-year-old striker has played 23 matches for Bayer in all competitions, in which he scored 16 goals.
