Premier League club coach confirms talks over Chelsea forward's loan deal

Chelsea's squad in the summer transfer window has swelled to an impossible size, but there are players who previously had no place at the Pensioners.

Such is forward Armando Broja, who spent the end of last season on loan at Fulham. Now, Chelsea are looking for a new club for the Albanian, which could be Ipswich Town. Head coach of Premier League newcomer Kieran McKenna confirmed the fact of negotiations with the London club:

‘Armando is the player we have been talking about. I think everyone knows that by now. Negotiations with Chelsea are ongoing at the moment. I'm not privy to what's been going on for the last 24 hours, but I can assure you that talks are taking place. We will see if we can get everything done by Friday,’ McKenna told a press conference.

Earlier, it was reported that Ipswich would loan the forward on loan with a £30m buyout clause if the team remained in the Premier League.
