Chelsea striker is transferring to Ipswich Town
Chelsea is having an extraordinary transfer campaign, primarily focusing on signing new players, but this time, striker Armando Broja is leaving the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Ipswich Town has taken the Albanian forward on loan. The contract includes a mandatory purchase clause if the team avoids relegation from the Premier League. Chelsea accepted a package worth over £30 million, with salary payments through June. Medical tests are scheduled to take place within the next 24 hours.
Additionally, it appears that Raheem Sterling does not feature in the plans of Chelsea's new head coach, Enzo Maresca. The 29-year-old winger has been left out of the squad for the second consecutive match.
Earlier, Sterling was surprisingly left out of the squad for the Premier League opener against Manchester City, a match Chelsea lost 0-2.
Following his exclusion from that match, reports surfaced that Sterling began considering leaving the club. Juventus has been mentioned as a potential destination.
